Job Overview

Arcturus Technology Ltd is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the successful execution of IT, software development, and digital transformation projects across diverse industry sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of both technical and client-facing responsibilities, ensuring delivery excellence across all engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of software development, IT consultancy, and computer facilities management projects for business and domestic clients.

• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables aligned with stakeholder requirements.

• Plan and manage resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.

• Lead implementation of services including Managed IT, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and custom application development.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, internal teams, and third-party partners throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitor and report on project progress and performance.

• Apply appropriate project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or failures.

• Support strategic IT advisory services, including acting in a Virtual CIO capacity.

• Work across industries such as education, healthcare, logistics, legal, manufacturing, and retail.

• Take on other reasonable duties as necessary to support the business.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in project management within IT and software development.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

• Technical background or understanding of IT infrastructure, software systems, and cloud environments.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are advantageous.

Working Hours

• Flexible hours per week depending on project workload.

• Variation in hours may be required to meet project deadlines.

• Includes paid refreshment breaks.

Remuneration

• £25 per hour

• Paid via BACS

• Pay reviewed every six months (review does not guarantee an increase)

• Overtime paid according to company policy

Holiday Entitlement

• 28 days paid holiday per year (pro-rated if part-time)

• Unpaid leave may be granted under special circumstances, subject to prior approval

• All holidays must be requested and approved at least 14 days in advance

Sickness Policy

• Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) in line with current legislation

• Qualifying days: Monday to Friday

• No additional sick pay scheme beyond SSP
