Arcturus Technology Ltd is seeking a talented and proactive Software Developer to join our development team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining software applications for a wide range of business clients. This role is ideal for a developer looking to work in a collaborative environment with exposure to web and mobile development, ERP integration, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for business clients.

• Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality web and mobile solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code following industry best practices.

• Integrate third-party systems, including ERP and cloud services.

• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle—from requirements to deployment.

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliable performance.

• Review peer code and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Maintain technical documentation for future development and support.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks.

• Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory standards.

• Perform any other reasonable duties related to the business as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in full-stack development and working with modern frameworks.

• Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and ERP systems.

• Strong understanding of software testing and version control tools.

• Ability to document processes and write technical documentation.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Note: You may be required to provide proof of qualifications or registrations with statutory bodies upon request.

Working Hours

• 20 hours per week

• Flexibility in working patterns may be required to meet project needs

• Includes paid refreshment breaks

Remuneration

• £13,200 per annum

• Paid monthly via BACS

• Salary reviewed every six months (review does not guarantee increase)

• Overtime paid in accordance with company policy

Holiday Entitlement

• 28 days of paid holiday per year (pro-rated for part-time)

• Unpaid holidays may be granted in special circumstances, subject to management approval

• Holiday dates must be approved 14 days in advance

Sickness Policy

• Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) in line with current legislation

• Qualifying days: Monday to Friday

• No additional company sick pay scheme
